Canossa College of San Pablo City

Canossa College of San Pablo City, formerly Our Lady of Fatima Canossian Academy,  is the only Catholic three-level educational institution in San Pablo City, offering elementary, High School and College education and the only PAASCU accredited institution in the city.  Upon the invitation of the late Msgr. Alejandro Olalia, then Archbishop of Lipa, the Canossian Sisters  came to run a parochial school administered  by the Young Ladies Association of Charity (YLAC). The formal transfer of the administration of the school to the Canossian Sisters took place in May 1955. Later the Elementary and College Departments were opened as requested by the parents.  The first course in College which was opened in 1963 was Bachelor of Science in elementary Education.


Through the years, Canossa College pursued quality education.  Both Grade School and High School Departments underwent  PAASCU accreditation.  The Grade School Department has reached the Level II status while the High School Department has Level II status.


The Canossa College alumni has been serving the country in different professions - teachers, guidance counselors, doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, business men/women,  and other professions.  Presently, its College course offerings are:  Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management Accounting, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Diploma in Midwifery.  June 2012 there will be additional courses, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management.
