CARE FOR PA_BOR UPDATES Aug-Sept, 2014

September update

Sr. Michaela (Ling) Gotangco was sent by the Provincial Leader, Sr. Gliceria Manuyag to Palo, Leyte from August 21-28 to assist in the formation of the future homeowners coming from Sitio Bachao. During her stay, she undertook Needs Assessment, Revision of the Vision-Mission with selected leaders and the Formation on the Word of God and the Vision.

She found the members of the community, both young and old, very receptive to the formative processes and they anticipate with hope their finished future homes.

There are four row houses simultaneously being constructed:

2 Blocks are composed of 5 houses with an area of 30 sq. m.

2 Blocks of 7 houses, with an area of 24 sq. m. each

There are now 24 houses under construction.

Every family who will reside in the Canossa Ville Housing Project is now filled with ENTHUSIASM as they GENEROUSLY share their time and efforts through SWEAT EQUITY.

No one could really fathom the JOY and EXCITEMENT in the hearts of everyone as their great ASPIRATION to live in the house which they could call their own is becoming true day by day.  Indeed, having a permanent residence brings about that SENSE OF DIGNITY and OF BELONGING TO A FAMILY and TO A COMMUNITY.

Our heartfelt thanks and prayers for all our Benefactors and Friends who have responded to the Lord’s invitation to help the  survivors of typhoon Yolanda in anyway they can.  God bless you always.

SUPPORT THE CANOSSA VILLE HOUSING PROJECT!

BE PART OF OUR WISHES AND DREAMS COME TRUE …
